Night People is committed to providing a range of high-quality workshops for young people, adults & professionals. All workshops have been designed to be flexible in various venues/spaces and can be curated according to bespoke areas of interest.

Dance & Groove Workshop
(Ages 8+)
Youth & Adult
An exploration into the Company’s unique movement style, this workshop focuses on providing a highly physical, sass-inspired experience that promotes self-confidence and empowerment in all groovers. Drawing from aspects of Contemporary Dance, Improvisation, and Catwalk Carnage, our Dance Workshops promise to deliver high-energy, creative, and celebratory content that engages young people with movement, music, and their inner alter ego.
Workshop can be curated to support various technical abilities, access needs and ages. Shaped across minimum 1 hour - max 3 hours (Dependant on your requirements)
Dance & Digital Workshop (Ages 10+)
Youth & Adult
An exploration into the Company’s unique movement style, alongside their exciting use of digital technology with dance. Workshop content includes movement-based learning, catwalk carnage, and bass-heavy elements, along with working with motion capture and live projection in space. Elements of the workshop can also be expanded to explore working with film and audio-reactive visuals (space/time dependent). A workshop that promises an electric look into the world of Night People, encouraging participants to think outside the box and engage with new ways of devising.

Aphrodite’s House Party Workshop (Ages 12+)
Youth & Adult
This workshop is specifically tailored around the Company’s new performance work, “Aphrodite’s House Party.” We can provide both dance & digital elements, and depending on space/capacity, this can be tailored to your venue/group.
The workshop provides participants a chance to explore the Company’s process of making movement in collaboration with visual art and electronic music, bringing the work’s key themes of escapism, love, and connection to the forefront. Participants will be guided through the Company’s training and devising process, alongside having access to digital interaction and creative play live in space. Bringing magic, fun, and creative chaos into space, this workshop welcomes all to experience the goddess Aphrodite and everyone’s journey for self-love and acceptance.

Night People Community
(Ages 16+)
Adult
If you are interested in booking a workshop that delivers a fun, accessible, and groovy entry into movement and digital work, then drop us a line!
All Adult Workshops are community-driven and focused on creating social, celebratory environments for people to move together. All workshops are driven by specific DJ sets & lighting/projection states, opening the floor for guided improvisation and learning some of the Company’s training drills.
All movement is led by the Company facilitators, and adaptations are provided for all abilities. The main aim is to get the energy up, provide a safe space for groove, and connect the group across a shared, joyous experience of movement and music.
Minimum 1 Hour - Max 2 Hours - Can be adapted for beginners and more advanced groups.
Professional Workshop & Classes
All our workshops are expanded for professional delivery and centred around our Company’s improvisational and movement practice. You can email us directly to discuss a specific workshop model you would like at your venue/organisation.
Night People also provides Company Class for those interested in undertaking the Company’s specific approach to technical and improvisational training. Club culture fused with creative movement and groove, our classes provide space for exploration, physicality & catwalk madness. Booking a Class or Workshop

We are open to discussing your workshop needs and tailoring bespoke workshop content that is relevant and suitable for your organisation/participants.
We are all about collaboration and celebration, so please communicate with us directly and tell us about your Workshop desires!
Please email us your requirement, space access, length of workshop, date and age group.
Bespoke Package Created
We will reply with a bespoke package, inclusive of Workshop Content, area of focus and the Artist's available to deliver.
This will include a workshop specification document to ensure technical/material requirements are agreed, alongside our costing brackets.
We are happy to discuss any fees/queries via email & phone.
Final Agreement
Once agreed, we will ensure social media content/copy are exchanged (if applicable), alongside request any further access/additional needs information to support our planning.
At any stage you can communicate with us any further ideas/requirements you would like us to be aware of.

Workshop Offer includes:
Company brings own free standing lights x1 Projector

Props/Materials
All workshops are delivered by x2 Facilitators minimum.
Requirements:
Spaces safe to move in
Access to PA system is welcomed, especially in large venues
Extra Projector access if possible
Light controlled spaces for Digital Projections
Access to plug sockets and extension cables
Set up/take down time (minimum 15mins either side of the workshop) Access Needs communicated ahead of workshop
